Get them Certs 
College like anything else requires some serious networking. If you're just going to go, do work and party then don't bother. Despite cost, I feel college is very beneficial but people aren't preparing nor researching properly.

Yall better get in that IT grind, so many fields you can get into and not go wrong as long as you stack the certs you need to productively advance your career. Turn them forum fingers into tech fingers

Im missing alot too, and if you get well acquainted in certain fields you can get into security for that field as well

Why should people, specifically blacks, be forced into majoring things they even dont like? For the sake of the whole.
Why don't they start making jobs that are better suited for these, "useless", majors instead of letting them be useless? Everybody can't handle going blind infront of a monitor.

I know I'm catching hell for this, but I'm going to school to get my BSN. My best friend and her sisters do it and make bank working 3-4 days a week. Talked to a few male nurses and they love it. At first I was like fukk being a male nurse but the money and schedule and benefits are just too good to pass up.

The problem ain't Black folks getting the wrong degrees. The problem is that Black people with degrees still gotta go out and look for CACs to hire them. THAT is the root of a lot of problems; we don't own/run our own economy. Get all of the degrees you want, and don't get me wrong you'll definitely be in a better position than if you didn't and it doesn't mean you won't/can't become successful financially, you're still gonna be at the mercy of an oppressor that has historically despised you.
Nikka aint no job in the world suitable for basket weaving, internal design ,black studies , cac studies or shihh even English and other liberal arts bs unless you wanna be a teacher or professor.
