i have a lot of different friends in different countries so connecting with them thru the phone is not practical. i think i said on sohh once that at least 2/5ths of my friend's list is made up of people from other countries, so that's about 400 friends out of 1,000 (my list is just a little over 1,100). trying to keep up with that many people or keeping in touch with that many people without it is ridiculous. plus, i use it to advertise myself since i'm a musician...

i got facebook, but hardly use it. don't have many friends. i got close friends that hit up me on my phone rather than facebooking me cause they know i don't check it that often.

i use it for entertainment purposes. It's lost it's appeal to me IMO.
