there was a study that came out today that revealed that women are far deeper into social networking than men. Less than half of all men use any type of social networking. No surprise there.

There's nothing wrong with checking in, seeing what's going on a keeping it moving. It does help you reconnect with people. Social networking only becomes a problem when people are using it for attention and their whole lives revolve around a website. It can ruin relationships.

i have a lot of different friends in different countries so connecting with them thru the phone is not practical. i think i said on sohh once that at least 2/5ths of my friend's list is made up of people from other countries, so that's about 400 friends out of 1,000 (my list is just a little over 1,100). trying to keep up with that many people or keeping in touch with that many people without it is ridiculous. plus, i use it to advertise myself since i'm a musician...

I was on there for a good min, but then I realized that everyone who I wanted to talk to got my number or know of another way of contacting me. If they don't know how to get in touch with me then they don't need to or I don't want them to. My life has been peaceful since then.
