In my experience, white people either flat out don’t like hip hop, or don’t like it enough to have an opinion about it.
It’s exceedingly rare that I come across a white person who cares enough about hip hop to have a discussion about it.

To be honest i met more white people mention Spitta, elzhi, evidence, little brother, slum village, black milk. etc(you guys get the point) than black listeners. But then again these are white people that know hiphop. Rapping as it is seen as being fairly impressive to them when you boil it down (no matter how much they made fun of it in previous generations) so when someone raps superfast or with an animated flow they think its turning all the bar difficulty up like its some ill ball handles or some shyt

I dont even know if its just white people but young people too and always been like that. Once you get a little older and take in more narrative lyricism its more appreciated
