It is true that it is ignorance from our own people, but to be honest Black people are so talented and make so much music that it is probably easy to forget that we are the creators of a music form like Country/Blue Grass music. After all not many black people still play the banjo, so you would be hard pressed to impress upon young Black people that their ancestors that brought that instrument to this country. I don't play any but I've known people who do and it's not only white people.
I'm going to assume you're extending this to anime/manga as well and I'll stop you there because I read and watch anime/manga because it's good entertainment and some take western influence and are open too/intend to reach foreign audiences such as One Piece who's mangaka takes influence from the west in truckloads and reads his fanmail from all countries and if he can't read the language still looks at it and represents many different cultures in his manga.
Do you want their do be a closed door policy between countries for entertainment or something
Oh and a simple YouTube search of manga chapter reviews will review a huge amount of black run channels, more than the white people.

The White people generally traveled and traded with different groups, which is how they got exposed to so many things. The Greeks and Romans traveled to Egypt. The Greeks traveled to India. The Arabs and Moors invaded Spain and Southern France. Do you ever wonder why most of Europe's oldest colleges are in Spain and France?

White people don't even use their own numerical system; they are using the Hindu-Arabic Numerical system. What White people know about medical, science, astronomy, accounting, business law, etc is from the Arabs and Moors. Even the alphabet that is in use is derived from Egypt.

It's funny how people of any group will latch onto culture, something you had no claim in creating and were just born into as a way of shytting on other groups/proving your own superiority.
It's one thing to note the hijacking of rock and roll by white artists who just took songs from black artists and reworked them (which I brought up the other day in an argument about Elvis's status as the king of rock and black/white musicians), and as a way to pay homage to those artists.
But it's another thing to take the accomplishments you had nothing to do with and try to exclude other people from enjoying them based on skin color and using it to show how great you are.
Or to pettily diminish the accomplishments of people in said groups far beyond fairly setting the record straight as to where something came from.

Why do you act like some cultures aren't content living off the land or living life as they did hundreds of years ago? Everyone doesn't exist to your standard.

Furthermore you don't know what the world would look like if the playing field was equal and nepotism by racism didn't exist. My guess is the world would be far better off than it is currently with the white man, as you say, "running the world".
