Titanfall was always sold as a multiplayer PVP only game. They never tried to claim there would be an engaging story mode. And regardless of game PVE is inherently more repetitive than PVP. Which is why PVE games need a compelling campaign/story to keep people interested.

I agree. Bungie is shameless. They microsofted gamers with Destiny but then you sit back and think about where they came from and you released that Microsoft used to own them. It seems every bad seed in the industry was planted by Microsoft from Bungie to Peter Moore who runs EA sports to Microsoft shills like @PS4 and Meach..

Lets breakdown what you just said. Microsoft at the start of the 360 gen decided they would not try to own studios. But work with them to help them create games. Namco liked XBL better than PSN and made a bunch of games exclusive in the first few years. Ace Combat comes to mind. Virtua Fighter 5 looked and played better and had online which the PS3 version did not. Gears of War, Halo, Forza, and now games like Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive & The Division continue in the tradition of working WITH developers to create games that otherwise would not be possible. I'm sorry if those facts don't make your sony only angle look very good.

Now for sony, well. Everyone from Naughtydog is GONE (that mattered)
The studios that created Socom 1,2,4, Mag, Twisted Metal.. all no longer exist
That's just the tip of the iceberg, most of sony's studios have been forced to close down
And insomniac which created all the other sony exclusives is focusing on xbox this gen
So I'm wondering. How come there isn't this thread or focus on how sony doesn't have all these potential games for PS4

Titanfall is the spiritual successor to the COD franchise and is an online based game.
Destiny is a STORY driven MMO that has no story. If it had a story, we wouldn't be talking about how shytty it is overall. I agree it can be fun, but it suffers from the same thing the Titanfall story mode suffers from

Not being fleshed out enough to matter. Titanfall can get away with that because the story isn't as important

this game already came out. In the late 90s. It was called Tribes. They even made another one called Tribes Ascend. Now theyve made another one and repackaged it as a Destiny but you can level up in it

Theres a reason Tribes was a popular game but never sold well with newer generation and Destiny is following the same shyt as Tribes Ascend. Its just on consoles and it was all hype.

There ARE games that transition better on PC than on console and vice versa , for many reasons.

This game would of been better off being on Steam and being a PC exclusive (just honest) to build it up first then ported to consoles for the sequel (like all the popular FPS on consoles first). Consoles have yet to really produce a big FPS first (not shots fired, just being honest.. the most popular console exclusives to ever come out are Gears of War and Uncharted, which arent bad but arent record breakers like Battlefield / Call of Duty).

But to be fair, im probably gonna buy a PS4 when GTA 5 comes out for it. It'll be a better game on PC but the fact i can play with my friends and brother on it will make it better for me on console. Its give and take.
