Why are third party developers so quiet regarding the Series X?

One thing i noticed is the 12TF boasting seems to have subsided right after that UE5 tech demo was shown. The topic naturally shifted and now SSD and how the PS5's setup is so good dominates the conversation. I suspect things to either get worse(from Xbox fan's pov) if the upcoming PS5 event showcases some game changers or the SSD talk to slow down if games are shown that at first glance doesn't seem different to the average gamer.
The Sony stan bubble :mjlol:

The only developers in that article comparing PS5 to Xbox were the unnamed ones who allegedly said those comments in Jason Schreier's article.

Third party developers have actually shown games for Series X even if that show was trash. All Playstation has right now is comments because they haven't shown any games yet.

They haven't shown any games yet because of the protests. :comeon:

The reason is that Sony unlike Microsoft, actually went to the developers and asked them what they wanted the most for next gen and SSD was the most requested feature which Sony delivered.

Microsoft on the other hand thought pure power would be enough with some minimal SSD attached and so it’s no surprise that developers are happy with the PS5 because they finally have a console that’ll enable them to do things they’ve always dreamed of but didn’t have the tech which they now do, so of course they’ll be singing the PS5 praises. Microsoft dropped the ball big time here.
Yep. Developers have been quiet because unlike the PS5, there’s nothing revolutionary about the Series X. It’s just a more powerful One X and nothing more.
