How is that $300M benefitting those without power right now?

obviously you're hard of reading...so I'm going to copy/paste for you:
the marathon is pulling away police from homes which need to be protected from looters.

My Pops Forever RIP
The parade has been rescheduled. So have the other games.

They made adjustments and may make more in the coming days.

To compare the marathon, which marries all the boroughs together and is tied to a now damaged outdoors to the Knicks and Nets is outright dumb and you refusing to backdown from the bs you tried to sell in here.

Do you understand the meaning of falling back when coming in with a flawed ass point that's been discredited?

None of the games I mentioned got rescheduled.

Second of all, the marathon really affects three boroughs. It starts on the Verrazano Bridge in Staten Island and goes through the Bronx for like 2 blocks. It's as if the marathon doesn't even go through there. Other functions have police, have security outside those venues, and cause a groundswell of people that go to those venues (and in the Knicks, Nets, and the parade, mostly rely on mass transit, mass transit that has yet to be fully restored and may not be til Monday).

I didn't even spew any BS. All I did was ask you a question and then you got mad about it.

Niqqa...ain't nobody mad...it's just dumb.

The Nets/Knicks game is not being played today. And to compare police securing a sequestered place like the garden to that of a 26 mile span circling through the city is outright retarded.

so the Police are suppose to be Security Guards standing outside of homes looking out for looters? naw thats the Neighborhood Watch Group's job, not the NYPD.

i think making $300M in this economy is a lot more important than a few DVD players getting stolen from homes..

get your priorities straight dummy

Marathon is 6 days after the hurricane. Buses are running, they're about to get subway up, time to move on. They just cross the Verrazano anyway, so fukk the Staten Island president.

And this is my #1 point I don't think the 300 million generated is going to people to in the hood hungry and starving and powerless. And the #1 priority of the police are to serve and protect it's citizens from lawlessness and assisting those who need, this is why New Yorkers pay there 85K salaries.
