Its been cancelled. Bloomberg got a change of heart , afraid of the "controversy" .
As a runner myself and two time marathon finisher, this would've been horrible if they still went along with this. If I was doing it, I would've pulled out but demand my $150 back

The lines are uber-long in sections of Boston, & we didn't get devastated like NYC & NJ. What gives?
Refineries were damaged by the storm. Some law was waived so tankers with gasoline can visit multple USA ports & replen the supply.
ESPN NYC featured calls from cops saying that armed police are required to keep gas lines orderly. Temps are dropping, & folk need gas to power the generators that keep their families warm at night.
What an awful visual: marathoners running thru demolished landscapes where bodies recently washed ashore & where undiscovered corpses may lie rotting. That shyt aint first world. Michael Kay decried the "optic." <-- new term to ME

I waited 2 hours yesterday. I know people that waited 4 hours just for 10 gallons. At least I was able to fill up.
