Let's keep it real though--while I appreciate a well worked women's match, women are always gonna be held to a higher aesthetics standard than men. It's a reflection of how society at large is Personally, I'm not gonna watch a wrestling match between two ugly hoes, and the 'E typically gets this.

This mentality is why people (both men and women) started to rebel against "divas." If you want to see "pretty hoes" then watch porn.

A lot of women wrestling fans aren't "hoes" by the way, they like wrestling as much as men do believe or not.

That's true but hey man I'm not trying to justify Ruby Riot being employed by WWE. What I said is that WWE are hiring different types of women as wrestlers instead of just the conventionally attractive model types they'd hired before because they want to appeal to different types of women. WWE lost the male 18-34 demographic and they're not coming back so they're trying their best to appeal to women and children. With Ruby Riot I said that I don't understand who she is meant to appeal to therefore I don't get what she's employed for. I'm agreeing with you.

From a business and marketing standpoint, the 18-34 male demographic isn't a dependable demographic like the women and children. Women are willing to spend more money than men on a product and service. The only benefit to a 18-34 male demographic is an edgier is an product.

Really doesn't tho, when the product was at it's height, it had an incredibly talented and charismatic roster with great storylines and larger than life main eventers. nikkas wasn't tuning in to Attitude Era for bra and panty matches.

Women's division is currently at the best it's ever been and Ruby Riot isn't going to be taking away from that. This entire thread is a non-issue. If 1 ugly wrestler bothers you this nikkas much then IDK what to tell you but it really doesn't matter on any scale ever

Yup, also total divas has really gotten young women into the WWE product. At work I use to over hear girls that 10years ago would laugh at pro wrestling, now talk about what happennd on raw. I actually think it's smart practice to build their fan base up in non-traditional way and to do that you have to have characters that can connect with all types of people not just blond hair with big boobs that they typically go for.

Between these girls wrestling attire and Instagrams, there’s plenty of half naked pics of them floating around.

Also women watching and father’s watching with children would be appalled by a wet t-shirt contest on TV nowadays so WWE could never go back to that unless they think there would be an increase in single men watching.

With the shrinking WWE audience, they are trying to maintain what they have and thanks to programs like Total Divas and the Women’s Revolution they have a dependable female audience and you think they are going to just squander that for dudes to get their rocks off for shyt they can easily find on Instagram these days
