Why are there no undisputed champions in boxing right now?

Belts only mean something to fighters getting their first belt and uneducated fans.

Today the belts don't mean much, their mandatory challengers are a joke, and there are so many that seemingly anyone can get one.
If you want a belt, the only one that means something is the lineal belt.
Mostly all fans and media knows that today if you are the guy who beats everyone else, you are the champ. Belts don't mean that anymore.

Wlad, Ward, Floyd, Danny Garcia, and Rigondeaux are all essentially the current "undisputed" champs in their weight classes.

They've all essentially cleaned their division out, or are lineal champs. That's all that really matters.
