All of these Egyptian police and soldiers, and counter protestors, aren't killing themselves.
There has been sniper fire from Muslim Brotherhood HQ's and protest sites.

even tho this is true, what are some examples of these countries that truly give a fukk about citizens outside their borders?Whether or not anyone wants to admit it, the truth is Americans(in general) don't care about non-american lives.

They basically burned their sit in to a crisp. MB demonization was hot for a moment, but now sounds corny and is a reach.

im no apologist for the US but comments like "the US doesnt care, is lazy, etc" are easy to make. i dont feel like you can reasonably say that people in other countries care THAT much more about shyt like that than the US does

my point is that people care about people.............
peoples are apathetic to situations like this because of a disconnect.
A disconnect i believe is swayed by the media depending on which way it wants its audience to go...

I agree, the media definitely has the ability to sway the ways in which we view the "others", especially when it comes to the Middle East.
However, people many not want to admit it but the U.S is a country made up of realist thinkers and the government has no interest in truly getting involved in this conflict because the U.S resources are secure in the region (Suez Canal/Oil), regardless of what happens domestically.
Whether or not anyone wants to admit it, the truth is Americans(in general) don't care about non-american lives.
Thats more of a human condition than a solely American condition.
