“No, but that’s not what hip-hop’s-” What the fukk is hip-hop? Don’t tell me what the fukk hip-hop is, nikka! Hip-hop is about making great fukkin’ records, making bytches dance, duke. That’s what nikkas started rapping for! Don’t tell me. That’s what nikkas wanted.

Where the fukk are the bytches, nice cars and furs? That’s what nikkas is about, B! Straight up and down – money, hoes and clothes. That’s what hip-hop is about. If you think it’s about anything else, you’ve got the game fukked-up. Money, hoes and clothes – that’s what we grew up on! nikkas are like “Yeah, man”, like you’re gonna snap fingers to clap for nikkas and shyt, like it’s a poetry reading. You nikkas got this shyt fukked up, nah’mean?

Well the topic clearly brings out emotions in people. Whether positive or negative. That's what art/music is supposed to do, so that's one of the reasons they probably do it.

I think some of the disrespect for listeners in hip hop also comes from crack/rap game mentality that's so prelavent amongst the more popular hip hop artists. Many rappers literally look down at their fans as "feens"
