Separate but equalHow does that work?
you can make great money in health.Men aren't going to get into those "HEAL" jobs for two reasons: ego and money.
Just like tech companies doing outreach to women, those employers will have to do outreach to men and offer pay enough to support to household.
Men will have to get over those jobs as being just for women, which is the most difficult part IMO. We tend to have our egos wrapped up in our titles and job descriptions.

Not going lie. I nearly flunked at out of college 18-22, but when I went back at 25/26 while having some real world experience (working a shytty job), I was able to focus and excel a lot more easily in schoolMens brains don’t fully develop until 25 years old. Science has actually determined that people are maturing slower as well by about 3 years on average. So a 35 year old today is really like 32.
I struggled with math through high school, the en when I went back to college 25ish it was so easy I aced nearly everything.
We really out here defining young mens lives off of 4 years. It’s even worse here In Japan when they have giant tests that define which caliber of school you get into then wonder why a whole generation of men just say fukk it and retreat into fantasy worlds.
It's crazy because this lack of care starts in the womb
Obviously I am not American, but when my son was born early, he spent time in NICU and was the only black male baby in there.
First thing I noticed is they placed his incubator in the far corner by the trash cans
Second thing I noticed he needed the most Air given through a ventilation tube.
When I read up on the statistics, it is clinically documented that NICU babies recover at different rates and these are the stats of the babies health performance from 'best to worse'
- Black female babies recover the fastest
- White Female babies
-White Male babies
-Black Male babies (longest recovery rates)
As well as genetics and birth weight, rate of recovery is largely dependent on quality of care during the child's stay in NICU
If not for 1 or 2 dedicated midwives my child could have died in NICU
1 of the nurses took extra care with my son, cleaning a d changing his NG tube more frequently than the other nurses did and she put me on game about a pacifier that would help him to breastfeed early.
Another nurse from Venezuela helped me when my breastmilk dried up, she told me to put a picture of my son as my Screensaver to encourage milk production when I couldn't physically see him.
And I had to fight for basic shyt like a gel memory pillow to stop his head from being a funny shape due to spending so much time lying down
Now if qualified nurses don't give AF about a premature black baby boy weighing 1lb at birth, that is smaller than the size of the palm of your hand. I can only imagine what happens to older black children in the systems and institutions.
Didn’t say you couldn’t. Not all of those jobs under the HEAL acronym are health related.you can make great money in health.
And stem can be done within Health.
You know what, let me not mess up this job security.
Don’t go into health brehs
do happy endings count?Didn’t say you couldn’t. Not all of those jobs under the HEAL acronym are health related.
I don’t think this is just a male thing. It’s completely irresponsible for us to push college as a de facto post high school move. It costs too much to go there unprepared or not knowing what you want to do, and IMO, we shouldn’t be asking 17/18/19 yr old kids to essentially be making life altering decisions at that age. It needs to become more of a norm for kids to take a gap year or start college in their early 20’s. We make people feel like losers or weirdos for going to college “late”Not going lie.
