I’m not mad, I collect a lot of British pounds in my occupation. Let ‘em get some greenbacks...

Not for nothing and UK brehs can confirm this but I was watching John Boyega on hot ones and he said theater and the arts are tied in with after school programs in the UK so thats why a lot of British actors are getting on because they been doing that shyt since grade school

They’re more classically trained. Which, when it comes to acting, does help you become better.

plus, the focus and emphasis on stage acting in the UK is >>>>> US. Stage acting is the final frontier, if you can do that well, ain’t no set you can’t step on IMHO.

Film actors have difficulty doing stage though. Many start or resume stage productions so they can improve their chops.

see where I’m coming from with it?

I've been noticing this for a while too, like id there a shortage of African-American actors or something.

I'm not hating just wondering.

Pretty much this 100%

British actors are usually legit professionals before you ever see them in a commercial, TV show or movie.

When dealing with A-list actors, it's all the same regardless of where you come from. HOWEVER...studios generally think they can get a better B/C/D list actor from the UK versus an American, and for less money. Theater is in their culture at a deeper level and their young/new actors are more experienced than our young actors.

Not saying it's right or wrong, but if the Brit is the same or better and costs less money :manny:

You cant learn the nuances of americans in acting school. That's like expecting someone from the U.k. to sing soul music
