And as far as all y'all bringing up Sinister.....

I actually don't have a counter argument. Never paid any real attention to Sinister. shyt sounds pretty cool. :ehh:
Realistically some of those villians should be smarter than Tony but marvel doesn't treat tony as that dumb . He's one of brightest , his real limitation is that he's a futurist and he tries to solve everything with tech
Hickman is just one writer. .50 years of history says different.
You can't say that man times change and tony is portrayed that way in most Media now and most of those villians got upgrades unlike self made man tony.

.so to reiterate....

Doom stole Surfer's powers by using a goddamned missile and was riding around on his board. lol

Doom- and look, I KNOW that some people looking through this thread thinks that the "Time Machine" thing isn't that big of a deal. It's time travel. NO. Doom builds THE ONLY TRUE WORKING TYPE OF TIME MACHINE IN MARVEL. PERIOD. If someone else builds a time machine, it doesn't matter HOW far in the future they may be tech wise, when they use it, it makes basically a "What If" earth/universe. Whatever they change has little consequence because it can be changed back. Not DOOM'S though. If Legion would have went back in time and killed Professor X and started Age of Apocalypse that you all love so much? there would have been no changing it back. No other time machines in Marvel Comics work this way.

On top of Doom being the only person who can build these things, Doom can build them from spare parts like an evil genius MacGuyver. He's built them out of Iron Man's armor when they were stuck in Ye Olde Camelot Times before.

Speaking of which, when Iron Man had the Extremis Armor, the most technically advanced- Tony hid the armor in the insides of his bones. But he couldn't hack Doom's armor with it.

Doom actually switched bodies with a dude from 20,000 years in the future once. Called using his machines "childs play"

Doom cut up the body of one of Black Panther's enemies and used the parts to make lenses for a machine and used it to steal Galactus' powers. :mindblown:

Doom put Reed in a suit of his armor once..... Reed wasn't smart enough to figure out how to take it off!

Hell, it may or may not be canon, but Thanos keeps Doom under 24 hour watch- he has people to watch Doom at all times because "he's too dangerous not to."

You wanna compare this type of smarts to a man who's like ":sadbron::damn::wow::sadcam::merchant::snoop::huhldup::to:" every time the joker escapes from jail.
:dead: Fair point.

good analysis.:ohhh: But I got question for you @Mr. Negative , would Luther have been a fairer comparison than tony, for Doom? Lex Luther takes on galactic threats and dismantles alien bodies to make new parts in a similar way to doom. Due to the greater power scaling in DC, his feats may even need to be weighed heavier. Any thoughts?:lupe:

Doom. I really can’t understand why Marvel is waiting so long to bring the GOAT villain.
For real. He needs his own movie like Sony did for venom. But I think the issue is the avg person doesn’t know about doom.

Every single avenger(except Hawkeye) had a huge following and is instantly marketable. Doom doesn’t have that. A movie about him may actually flop like the old F4 movies did , cause the plot must carry Dooms entire series on its back. It has no nostalgia value beyond fanboys.

That’s a huge risk for a studio.

What's crazy about Doom's intellect is despite his intellectual feets I read in cannon he's still #2 to Reed Richards.

Is this true? If so, how big is the gap?

I'm sayin' tho.

Stark is a technological genius.
Batman is a master tactician.

Doom is both, and on an insane level.
We need a poll. Cause if your a casual going off on what you seen of Doom in movies then you are selling yourself short. Doom is that dude.

even if you manage to beat him you lost because he will just :umad:

you beat a Doom bot fakkit. Im still here
