My phone fukked up and wasn't letting me type.. Cameron was heavily influenced by the outer limits and other sci-fi films and shows. The thing about Cameron is that he pushes the boundaries of cinema with nearly every film he releases. A director of his vision can never be overrated. Avatar was an experience, not a movie. Cameron has to find the perfect balance but Avatar isn't meant to be seen in 2D or randomly on TV. It's supposed to be viewed in 3D, Cameron built his own cameras and spent years working on 3D technology. There is a reason avatar depression is a real thing.

The Coen Brothers are my favorite by far...

I like everything Rian Johnson has done and everything Charlie Kaufman touches is great too... although he doesnt direct that much. When Kaufman and Spike Jonez get together though that shyt is beautiful. Adaptation is my favorite screenplay ever written.

I suppose I could add Wes Anderson too... take out Life Aquatic and The Darjeeling limited out of the middle of his filmography and its real solid.

The only director who I make sure I see his flicks on Day 1 in the theaters and who has not made a movie yet that I didn't love is Quentin Tarantino.
