I still say it's Dumars. That team has been stuck in the lottery between 5-10 for years now. Not good enough to make the playoffs and not bad enough to get a top-3 pick (and we know what he does when he gets one of those).

Gave those heinous contracts to Gordon, Charlie V and Prince that basically crippled the team's flexibility.

People talking about drafting Monroe and Knight, but neither of those players is franchise guys. They're complementary guys on a good team, but they have to play the starring role for this team. That's how you start 0-7, well on their way to another 20-25 win season and another pick between 5-10.

He's been living off that '04 title they lucked into winning because he stole Sheed from Atlanta with that no-brainer trade.

I'll say in fairness to Grunfeld, Wall and Nene (shocking...) haven't even played yet this season, so the jury's still out a little on what they can accomplish. Their ceiling is definitely higher than Detroit's though.

Colangelo did steal Lowry for nothing, so that was a good move and a couple of their guys might be able to play. They could be headed in a positive direction. We know Detroit isn't (LOL @ someone saying they're gonna be decent in a couple seasons).

Some of the contracts he's given out have been ridiculous and Fields is the worst player in the league, but he probably gave him all that money so he'd keep his hot girlfriend around the team to boost morale :ehh:

breh, we dont want to be a 35 win, just out the playoff team. :mindblown:

its the same purgatory you are talking about with Detroit.

But Grunfeld has been garbage even when we were making the postseason, and its gotten worse since Gil got his knee crushed. Trevor Ariza and Emeka Okafor for Rashard Lewis' expiring contract. :mindblown:

The only thing going for Colangelo in all his years in Canada is Lowry, who was a complete no-brainer, and that itself is only down to Morey's #fukkery .

and he only got lowry as a consolation prize. what he really wanted to do is sign a 38 old canadian pg to a big contract.

motherfukkin' bc has been atrocious. stupid trades, ridiculous contracts, bad drafting, his crazy man-love for bargs...dude is just all-around shytty.

i've been in the minority that's hated him for years and it looks like the rest of the raptors fanbase is turning on him. people are starting to see the light.

You don't have this season's pick either I think? Purgatory.

I don't think anyone is wrong by saying any of the three is the worst. Just think Dumars has the edge on all of them. :skip:

I think the Wiz could make the playoffs if Wall and Nene were playing. The Pistons don't have a chance in hell.

what would be the point of making the playoffs? This team is not close to competing for a title. It doesnt even have decent young prospects outside of Wall, maybe Beal, and maybe Seraphin.

In fact, with Drummond and Monroe, I like the Pistons future a lot more than the Wizards right now.

How many teams are really in a position to compete for a title in the next five years or on the way? Wall's progression means everything for the franchise. If he reaches his potential, it's possible. He alone gives them more hope than Toronto and Detroit, in my opinion.

Ehh, Monroe is a secondary player and we still have to see how Drummond pans out. Project big men usually don't pan out.

It's Colangelo. He came to a team that was in position to draft one of Roy, Aldridge or Rudy Gay and 40 mil in cap space, and ended up with a team that lost 4 years in a row after his first season with nothing to show for it but overpaid bench players and Kyle Lowry. They will have no draft pick this year if they don't get a top 3 pick and little cap space to spend. He gave up what turned out to be Roy Hibbert for an aging Jermaine O'Neal and turned down Beasley for Bosh. He's definitely the worst GM.

At least Dumars can draft and has assets...the Raps have Kyle Lowry, DD (3 years and he can't shoot for shyt) and Jonas (who hasn't panned out yet). That's it.

Colangelo.

Your realize this loser was ready to give Nash 12 million a year at 38 years old? You realize he signed Landry Fields to a 3 year 20 million contract to block NY from getting Nash? He ended up with no Nash and the worst starting player(possibly worse player in the league) in the league, Landry Fields. Drafted an "nba ready" player in Ross who doesn't play and looks like a project while Drummond, the supposed project looks more NBA ready. Outbid himself for Derozan. Overpaid for Kapono, Hedo, Amir Johnson, etc. He's awful. I don't even think there's a debate right now.

bidding against himself for linas kleiza 5 years 25 mill who now is a 12th man
bidding against himself for landry fields
bidding against himself for demar derozan and andrea bargnani
didn't trade bosh when he knew he wasn't returning then blasted him in the media
hired a horrible cheap coach in casey
gave jose calderon 4 years 40 mill

:wow: I guess Colangelo might have just solidified his spot as the undisputed worst GM in the NBA tonight hands down.

I feel like my point still stands about the Wiz. They're a different team with Wall in the lineup. 6-5 since he returned and they have some solid wins. They aren't title contenders, but they appear to have some type of foundation. :manny:

Colangelo has clearly taken the lead, in my opinion. They have no plan with that team.

Dumars has made some solid moves lately. Drummond looks like he's gonna pan out and i like the trade they just made. I gotta give Joe D his props. :ehh:
