9 isn't worth the effort by all accounts. Didn't even sell like that.

X is... weird. There's been on and off rumors regarding a FFX-3 or crossover for ages.

I've seen sources that more or less confirm X-3 is gonna happen. The FFX storyline is technically still unfinished

ehhhh 9 has it's fans.. but really no ff outside of 7 is popular enough to warrant a remake

FF7 was more an outlier for Final Fantasy games being that it's an iconic video game on the whole.

Thinking about it, I think most remakes would sell, especially 1-6 if they did console versions of em. Cut scenes, voice actors, the whole Remake treatment. Square Enix has a pretty dedicated fanbase. They'll generally buy anything that looks even a little final fantasy-esque

Front Mission would be fire.

I don't know how I feel about a Tactics remake. It's my personal favoriite final fantasy game but seeing how they remade 7 and broke the mold, I don't know what they are gonna do to seperate a remade tactics from say Fire Emblem or Valkyria Chronicles or something. There is only so much you can do to break the mold of a turn based strategy game.
