It took so damn long to get going and they hid all of the info in the main menu concerning the story



Lightning was the only thing redeemable about that game besides the soundtrack.

I'm trying to remember how it even tied in with the overall plot.

Thinking about it, FF8 needs a remake much more than FF7. They have a chance to give a better explanation cause the time travel stuff definitely didn't make sense to my 14 year old brain at the time
