lebron has not been the best player in the league for a long time fukk outta here

Minus Rose's MVP year Lebron has been the best player in the game at least the past 5 years and I'm being real with you. If you put Melo, Durant, Kobe, or whoever on those previous Cavs teams you wouldn't have had the success Bron had.:lolbron:

Melo has been put on their level when convenient. Melo has regularly been referenced as a superstar and no superstar has ever had so little team success without that overwhelming the rest of the narrative. Funny how u didnt take issue with me saying he has been overlooked this year. I call it how it is...no hate.

Thats because I dont think he has been overlooked this year. He has been getting alot of positive press and is top 3 on everybody's nba mvp chart as of right now.

A superstar leaving NY to be best record in the conference after all those down years with Amare out by any fair measure should be the run away top candidate for MVP at this point based on how shyt has gone in the past. We will see if hype picks up if they keep it up.

Carrying a team in the east is nothing extraordinary.

This isn't 2001 anymore. The east ha plenty of good teams. IN fact, their 8th seed is better than the West's last I checked.

Lebron's teams were also consistently killing the best teams in the West during the same time period.

carry a team in the east is some awesome feat nowadays ? :dead:

Carrying a team in the east is nothing extraordinary.

:heh: Way to dodge the question. 60 wins is 60 wins. Getting to the Finals is getting to the Finals. You wanna say they didn't go all the way or didn't get over the hump then fine but to act as if they weren't successful is just plain silly.

Take away his jumper? You just made my point for me. To make KD a lesser basketball player, you would have to take away an aspect of the game of basketball....his jumper. To make LBJ a lesser player you would start first with his physical nature...Karl Malone size with Jordan like speed. If we let both players keep their skill sets and put them both in a 6'3" 185 lb body, only one would still be the same....and it ain't LBJ. Therefore, my statement holds true. Not a diss to LBJ.

6'3" 185 lb LeBron = Rose/Westbrook
