The real question should be could KD have led those Cavs teams the way Lebron did. I mean Lebron been the best in the league for a long time. I'm not even a heat fan but his talent and atheleticism>>>>>>>>>KD. While KD is a better shooter and a more reliable scorer Lebron is still the overall better player because of his intangibles. Every team he's been on he's made better. Lets be real those Thunder squads had more talent.

:kat: what does any of this have to do about 2013 MVP, it is well known that lbj is the best player in basketball. cleveland was constructed to lebrons strengths anyway. thats like expecting lebron to play off the ball majority of the time and expectingm to succeed.

Well I thought we were comparing overall. Even in 2013 Lebron is still better.

:childplease: Melo been getting love. Ironically enough he's not really getting that much now though. If it were Bron or Kobe you wouldn't be able to turn on your TV without hearing about HIM not the team but HIM. He got more love for coming to NY then he's getting for leading them to the best record in the conference. Maybe the media is just practicing consistency based upon the pass they gave him for the last few years or maybe they don't believe yet. :manny:

What pass? the media was questioning if he was a top 30 player last year.

No other superstar could have a playoff history like his and not have to wear that shyt. Before u mention teammates and injuries, nobody ever took those into consideration for bron, kobe, tmac, kg, or even Mike.

Breh every time Melo comes up we have this argument, please tell me how melo doesn't wear it, its been beat to death, its like you living under a rock or something.

Melo got killed all last year..

Alot of people dont even consider Melo a star or a top 10 player.......because of his PLAYOFF FAILURES, so what are you talking about?

Everything I said has been in reference to the media. The team failures shyt has not stuck to him IN THE MEDIA like it has with others. Only reason he finally took heat last year is because he wasnt putting up great numbers and the knicks were a big disappointment. Tge heat ge took last year is still nothing compared to what nikkas like kobe and bron have taken. That was really the first time he has taken heat.

Why would Melo take as much heat as Kobe and Bron when they have been the BETTER PLAYERS throughout their careers.

Lebron and Kobe got goat potential and resumes Melo does not, so why would he take the same amount of heat from the media?

Melo has been put on their level when convenient. Melo has regularly been referenced as a superstar and no superstar has ever had so little team success without that overwhelming the rest of the narrative. Funny how u didnt take issue with me saying he has been overlooked this year. I call it how it is...no hate.
