LeBron James

.541 FG% 25.4 PPG 8.6 RPG 6.7 APG .675 FT% .424 3P% 37.6 MPG 29.06 PER

Kevin Durant
..515 FG% 27.5 PPG 8.4 RPG 4.2 APG .897 FT% ..439 3P% 39.4 MPG 28.23 PER

you see KD has slowly tried to morph into LeBron

how there ever been a time in the nba where the two best players play the same position like this

Good question. I would say maybe Garnett and Duncan were the two overall best players for 2 to 3 years in the early 2000s, but then again you have Shaq....

Who was considered 2nd best player during the prime Jordan era? I never hear a clear cut answer. Malone? Robinson? Olujuwon? Barkley?

LBJ would average 27 plus if he wasn't shooting 67% free throws :scusthov: He needs to fix that asap. KD has scarily has become an even better player than last season.

in 1991-92, it could be argued MJ and Drexler were the best 2 players in the league that season.

1994-95 David Robinson and Hakeem Olajuwon

Duncan and Garnett could have been argued at one point. D-Robinson and Olajuwon when Jordan retired, Jordan and Drexler could have been argued around the time they played in the Finals. Obviously Wilt and Russell back in the day; maybe Kareem and Walton around the time Walton won the MVP. Actually, back in the 60s/70s, there were probably several years you'd find the top two players were centers, but obviously I'm not old enough to REALLY know if that was the case.

Durants is more impressive because he takes more perimeter shots

:scusthov: how can this be brons 9th year in the league and his ft have gotten worse? no reason why he shouldnt be shooting atleast 75, should be shooting 80%+ really

Durant is a better basketball player while LBJ is a better athlete playing basketball. Don't shortchange KD by saying he's trying to "morph" into LeBron. His across the board stat lines last year where comparable to Bron's too. He's not just a scorer.

are you trying to say KD has more skills?

if so then no.. LBJ is the most skilled packed player today..

not the best at everything.. but one of the few that can do everything well...

take away KD's jumper and he is out the top 10 talk immediatly.

Durant is dominating in all phases of the game this season. The he's not an "all Around player" crap should never be said about him again

Where did i say he is the best at everything? I just said he's dominating at every aspect of the game this season. For his position... Where is he lacking this season?

Scoring
Shooting
Playmaking
Rebounding
Defense

All elite right now And He's still the best off the ball player in the NBA etc. He really doesn't have a flaw in his game right now.
