You only got him for barely a dungeon and then he turned into the main villain...but Ghaleon in party was crushing the buildings.
Agrias in FFT with all the holy sword attacks was major for the first few chapters after she joined imo.
Kimahri is slept on in that you could basically give him any style of combat you want since his section is fully filled in crazy early on in the game. You want a second dark mage? Cool, you want him to be a damage dealer...it works...want another speed based character...or you could make him a white mage and have healing and holy attacks...dude is slept on.

Granted, other than that he's pretty mediocre, but that one spell literally makes the game like 50% easier.

Dude Obtained the Soul Rune, which instantaneously sends people to hell, and it always worked. There was no random chance that it wouldn't work. Dude just sent people to hell with no regard for anything.
But other than that, think about what he accomplished.
He started a Rebel group, which became a large army that Defeated the world's super-power.
Then He went toe-to-toe with his father who loved him more than anything.... He killed his dad without even hesitating. Everyone thought dad went mad or was controlled by some spell. However, his dad wasn't crazy. He dad was just a true solder for the team...
Then, eventually, his army storms the Enemy's Capital City and McDohl killed the Emperor with his own hands.
I can't think of one RPG or videogame character who accomplished so much.

real talk though, i usually finish the game with Flare or Meteor being my strongest magic spell
I cant even remember casting Holy or Ultima and i beat 7,9, and 10

I'm assuming you mean from Final Fantasy Tactics, actually if you give his sword to Agrias, Agrias is better.
I would give my vote to Sabin in FF6 tho.
Honorable Mentions:
Alena in Dragon Quest IV she has elite agility and a high critical rate, her attack is also the 3rd best in the game.
Auron in Final Fantasy X he has high swag levels and was a beast in the game.
Balthier in Final Fantasy XII for the same reason.
Hobyrim in Tactics Ogre, for some strange reason he's a beast at Swordmaster even though it's a shyt class otherwise.
