Paul is an amazing all-around player and his offense was growing like crazy. He had one of the worst offensive casts in the league (Hibbert, Hill, Stephenson). He made Lance look like a decent scorer. He's also the dude that carried the Pacers past the Hawks.

Butler is good but he has WAY more help than George ever has. Almost every single one of the Bulls starters would be the 2nd best player on the Pacers.

He was one of the dudes who was competing with Harden and Durant in one on one duels in the summer.

Pretty revealing thread tbh....there has to be at least 5 or 6 Western Conference players that are better than the 2nd best Eastern Conference player - probably more.

Steph Curry
James Harden
Anthony Davis
Russel Westbrook
Kevin Durant
LaMarcus Aldridge
DeMarcus Cousins
Chris Paul

Anyone else? Griffin? Howard?
Yes to Griffin

Why are people saying PG?

He's the only "superstar" that could easily fall into bum status :mjlol:

No, he's not. He's very good.

All-around stars are a freakishly hot commodity and the kind of players you build around.

Paul George can guard pretty much any elite wing player in the league, one on one, and be either your best scorer or primary playmaker. Put him on a decent offensive squad, he'd probably be a 22-24 PPG scorer on hood efficiency. He can shoot mid-range, threes, and slash. He's improving as a ball-handler and he's young as hell. He's only gonna improve.

Leonard is improving massively and he might be a little better defensively but, again, George is playing with one of the worst offensive squads in the league.

Paul George is his team's best playmaker, scorer, and has a lot more offensive responsibility because his team is much worse. How good would Kawhi look if he was playing with George Hill, Stuckey, and Hibbert?
