Then I saw that people can't even play the game they paid for...insane:

wait tho but they made the server connection Asynchronous meaning that the game receives server data in pockets so this avoid disconnects causing your game to crash immediatly...something fishy with these amazon reviews..im not saying all criticism to the game is invalid..im just saying gamers love to slandering a game even before trying it like the DmC or call of duty game...

The survival of this game totally depends upon the mod community. EA/Maxis better just hand over the keys after this debacle.

I never knew they released it for SNES.

I had one of the 1st ones on PC back in the 90s.

The last one I played was the most recent one, SimCity 4 but the fact it didn't have a good money cheat pissed me off.

When I start a new city I use money cheats to get the whole city jumped off, then once I start getting decent revenue I stop using it.

Cinnemasacre did a lil review/playthrough...said its the best version cause Bowser is a "disaster"

May as well just stick a fork in it then, I doubt EA is going to allow mod support anytime soon, they didn't do it for Mass Effect or Battlefield. That just means less sales for their DLC, by the time they release the mod tools Sim City 6 will probably be ready to go

EA is a company that is spread too thin and their focus is all over the place. SimCity was going to do numbers REGARDLESS because of all the history behind it. You don't take a franchise that has such an established audience and wishes to create huge cities and dumb it down like this AND have a ridiculous DRM on top of it

They were looking at the potential numbers...like they have been with the sims franchise and thought it would work here. Its a COMPLETELY different crowd. I wanted to nerd it up and create Lexington on this. I launched Cities XL this morning, but that game never connected with me like that. Blizzard should come out with something like this and crush the buildings...they are the only company I can see getting this right or maybe have the goons at SEGA have Creative Assembly cook something up
