isn't rebounding effort? his entire game looks lazy and too cool for school. I can see why it would rub a coach the wrong way. He's just super talented that it offsets it.
It's really inexplicable that Reddish is still in the rotation and Christie isn't...

That’s that Dlo experience.
Glad dude fought through all the adversity this year to have the season he did but he’s still way too volatile.
He’s either cooking or ice cold. That’s not a winning recipe for playoff basketball. Your 3rd option is basically a coin flip on a night to night basis.
This team desperately needs a number 1 scoring option, AD obviously is not that and Bron can’t do it every night anymore and even though Reaves can go he cant go get it against anybody on any given night himself. That’s not his game.
They better throw the kitchen sink at Donovan MItchell this offseason.

I think it’s more like an awareness issue. Just like how he gets lost on defense. He still doesn’t understand the nuances like positioning.
This for sure. He doesn't play with his head on a swivel, have anticipation, and as you mentioned awareness/positioning, understanding where missed shots are more likely to bounce too..
shyt if he don't understand it by now, what are the chances he understands it later? realistically how far can you go with a player like that?

His massive improvement at finishing at the rim gives me hope that he can improve his rebounding

Having 3 dudes in Dlo,Reaves, Rui that can drop 25 on any given night and be the third option is a good thing.
All three just have flaws that lower this teams ceiling and prevent it from being an elite team on a consistent basis.
Dlo and Reaves are both terrible on defense and Rui is terrible at rebounding.
I think they need to trade either Dlo or Reaves or get SG and bring Reaves off of the bench.
Rui has to be way better on the boards but I have some hope that he can improve in that aspect.

the reason he's the 3rd option and not 2nd or 1st is because of this, if he was consistently giving you 25 he wouldn't be that.
Your team cant lose games just because the 3rd option had an off night, also Reaves and Rui are good enough that they are 3B and 3C
