I think "hood" is subjective, like I don't want s gang banger but I do like guys that grew up kind of rough but have common sense and are about something.

I understand that but blacks would benefit from having ownership in the hood. The more you own, the more you can control and fight off gentrification. I would totally buy in the hood if I lived amongst home owners.
