Hell on Earth was a damn good album but I don't even think that it was the best album of '96. It Was Written and Reasonable Doubt were better in my opinion.

It was written was a classic rap album, Nas best work no doubt because it was much more polished than illmatic.

Reasonable Doubt was a very good rap album with a few great songs on it, one of which Prodigy was sampled on.

Hell on Earth is a legendary composition of music that can eclipse anything in hip Hop culture.

Compare Hell on Earth only to Dark Side of the Moon. which sold over 45 million records.

I think HOE was better just because the 7DT was incomplete, Pac died before he could even see the final product. HOE also has slightly better production.

nah 7 day theory was actually complete it was released the way he wanted it and 7 day theory for me is ridiculous in terms of production and lyrics imo

Ridin Dirty, Atliens & IWW are the only albums even close to Hell on Earth during that time period.

Maybe LAD & AEOM also but those are double disc albums.
