He a ban he a ban he a bytch ass nikka.:scust:
This is no surprise though. The nikka started his little rant with “You know what hurts me the most.” Anyone that wasn’t blind could see that it was disingenuous and clearly came from a place of envy.
So again it’s fukk this dude. I’m about to cop some AE1s now.:umad:

This is a foolish argument. You’re running with a limited definition that is beneficial to some athletes and disrespectful to others. You’re equating being a national team champion to world champion when that’s not the case. You can been a world champion because you play on the best team/club or a world champion because you have the best national team. Someone like Lyles has to compete in tournaments all over the world because there’s no American domestic league that all of the best track stars run in every week.

Someone like Floyd Mayweather never had to leave the USA to fight the best in the world. Who is the world boxing champion- the Olympic champion or the WBC champion, or both? See how dumb that sounds when you say it out loud.

No one confuses being the best team - whoever wins the MLB with being the best national team - whoever wins the world baseball classic. Your problem is you’re stuck in a semantics based, single definition argument and not one based on substance or reality.
Google the literal definition of "world champion" then get back to me. :beli:

I mean it wasn’t just Bron, Steph and KD that were at home

If you added AD, Bam, Embiid, Booker, Tatum & Jrue to that roster instead of Jaren Jackson, Bobby Portis, Walker Kessler, Josh Hart, Cam Johnson & Austin Reaves you think the World Cup goes the same?

Even regarding the next generation, which country collectively has better talent under 25 than America? Hell our U-17 team just won the World Cup and didn’t win a single game by less than 33 points

We are still the gold standard under proven otherwise
Yes. I do. We needed three of the top 20 NBA players of all time to get in a time machine and pull off multiple prime level performances for this gold.

Do you think any of the people who you named could do what Steph, Bron, and KD did this tournament? The "best" players in the NBA are European born and the next one coming up is French. It's a wild assumption to pretend like those three can just be replaced by cats who were primarily role players and they aren't necessarily young role players. shyt. Kerr parked Tatum on the bench and said he did it so they could actually win.

We played Serbia 3 times this cycle, smoked them twice, one of which KD didn’t even play in, and the 3rd time they were able to keep it close in large part due to highly unsustainable 3-pt shooting. In 2028, Jokic & Bogdanovic will be 33 & 35, and they currently have no one in the pipeline flashing star potential.

And who knows? 4 years is a long time. 4 years ago, Ant hadn’t played a game in the NBA and people were debating whether James Wiseman would be a better prospect, now he’s being hailed as the future of American basketball.

What y’all fail to realize is those foreign stars are all spread out. We’re not going against Team World, we’re going against individual countries.

Slovenia is literally Luka and nothing else, same with Greece and Giannis. Y’all hyped SGA & Canada to the moon this year and they came out and got punked. Wemby looks to be monster but some of those other French young players have to pan out too and that’s far from a sure thing based on their track record.

Idk I just find it crazy that y’all are giving the benefit of the doubt to these countries that have never won anything but are uncertain about the one with an 80 year history of winning gold and by far the largest talent pool :dead:

That doesn't matter. The fastest man is just a title that goes to the current World or Olympic champ 100m champ.

It probably started as a result of how often the 100M record used to be broken. The 100m record has been broken so many times during that past 3 decades, that the world record holder, and Olympic/World champ where often the same person, but that ended with Bolt.
I know all that but it’s wrong :hubie:
