HBKGOAT is human and like any mortal man can make mistakes and be ignorant, he is like everyone else flawed but I guess on the Coli everyone is a saint and perfect, nobody is racist against other blacks , look at people on here who hate light skin blacks tons of threads on here about that . The offensive hate towards Latinos and women on here is just as bad as a young Shawn attitude back in the day. He is a Christian now and I will Support his growth as a man who matured.

And don't try to use TLR threads as a way to represent the views here because that section is troll/flame bait central.

It's the same section that had a thread about how light skinned people can't be black. :mjlol:

Is it really a stretch that a guy who was the most disliked person on the entire WWE roster in the 90s is a bigot as well? He got his ass beat by Marines, there are numerous shoot interviews of people who say that they hate his guts and still do to this day, and many other examples.

Of course Shawn was the most disliked. He was the only one drawing money and knew how to finesse Vince. The marine story literally changes every year. No one knows what happened. Shawn is God nikka. Your favorite wrestlers favorites wrestler Deal with it :umad:

From my time here TLR has been the WOAT forum. shyt turns into a gender war bm vs bw, height thread, shyt on x ethnic group, light skin vs darkskin or some nude pic exposal. I heard flat earth science is all the craze now. Its like the misc on bodybuilding.com.........probably worse. TSC is orders of magnitudes better its not even close.

Stop. He was losing the company money ($6 million in fact) and if Stone Cold wasn't forced into the main event scene, we'd all be watching Nitro instead of Raw. Michaels gets a large part of the blame because Bret Hart didn't come back until late in the year. The main people in the spotlight were Sid and HBK with Michaels still refusing to put anyone over and hogging the spotlight.

Bret's title win led to his match with Royal Rumble winner Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XII. The two men wrestled in a classic, hour-long Iron Man Match with Michaels eventually victorious in sudden death over time. Michaels may not have been a great money maker in his initial title run (business wise, 1996 was a bad year for WWF - they lost $6 million) but his matches were nothing short of magnificent. He had a great no DQ match with Diesel in April, and followed it with amazing bouts against new title challengers Mankind and Vader. Michaels lost the belt to Sid Justice at the 1996 Survivor Series, but won it back at the Royal Rumble in January, and here's were things get confusing.

As for the Marine story, the only thing that has changed is how many people were beating his ass which was exaggerated by Michaels.

Ok. Now pull up the past years of shyt mans and Nash reign and their numbers. Shawn out drew both of them. Of course they were down because hat time period sucked and WCW was on fire(and that is still a win for Shawn because he's kliq affiliates)But that wasn't Shawns fault. Simple fact is Shawn is the architect. He was the one pushing for the attitude era. He was the one who pass the torch to SCSA, not Fret. If it was up to Bret, WWE would be out of business. Praise Michaels :blessed:

As far as the marine story, the person who was there(X-pac) said it was him who started the shyt with the marines. Shawn was passed out wasted in a car and they whopped him while pac and bulldog ran

Go fukk yourself, Midwest
Hulk probably looked out for Rodman the same way and kamala said hulk stood up for him when it came to pay...

I think racial bias is not black and white people can harbor racist thoughts on occasions and still have close bonds with people who they are bias against ...it's a weird dynamic but my guess is that humans emotions are never static and are in constant flux...like one night your happy about being with a woman but in the morning you might regret it or feel differently

During a moment of anger someone can succumb to weakness and bury people just cuz they are different but with time to digest what people are you look out for them and care for others like family
Shut the fukk up fakkit...

Never understood the fascination/stanning with Shawn Michaels on this site. Besides his in ring wrestling ability, dude came across suspect as hell in the 90s, he has b!tchmade tendencies, and he's done some prejudice things towards black people.:yeshrug:

People grew up watching this jacked guy strutting and prancing around arenas, dropping from scaffoldings, climbing ladders, surviving ironman matches, and superkicking his way past bigger stronger guys. Admittedly dude was pure energy, style, and charisma during that early-to-mid nineties family period.

I mean, I'm 6'7" and I used to love watching dude. I didn't gain an appreciation for Hart, Rude, etc until later.

When you're a child, none of the race stuff comes into play, so it's difficult for people to release those memories once they get up on game. This is why I'm glad I was never a Hogan fan (always disliked dude and thought he was corny).

Separating art from artist is incredibly difficult, especially if you're black and get into pop culture at all.

No easy answer here.

On point. Race (based on skin color) is illogical and completely made-up to separate people. Once you actually get around someone and connect it changes the game. But this idea of separation is so embedded in us, that we would rather say, "oh, he's one of the good ones" than just admit that the nonsense we've been taught is illogical bullshyt.

Real question, is anyone who likes the product going to stop watching?

Anyone going to stop hitting up old YouTube clips? Is anyone willing to remove this guy/these guys from their childhood memories?

If not, none of this talk really matters.
