I think Batman might edge out Caps, it would be damn near a draw, but I think Batman has more martial arts knowledge and his experience fighting meta-humans would allow him to adjust.

the way they had him fighting, Cap should win. Batman needs to use his gear to make up for Cap's shield.
They're borth members of teams that regularly fight meta humans. The difference between the two is Cap is the fukking leader of his. And I think Captain's strategic ability > Batman's martial arts knowledge. Knowing multiple arts doesn't change much if Cap is just as effective in almost as many. We already know he's stronger, faster, more agile.

To elaborate on this, the shield, coupled with Cap's advantages in strength, speed, agility, and stamina should compensate for the negligible skill advantage Batman would have. And before I see anyone bring it up, I'll see Bruce getting the better of Superman via weakness exploitation and raise you Steve knocking Hulk the fukk out with the help of Spider-Man. No, that shyt doesn't make sense, but it's canon.

The only advantage Cap got on Bruce is durability cuz of the SS serum. Batman doesn't have go blow for blow with Cap even though he could. Bat could think of like 2403820820383 ways to neutralize Steve Rogers - who unlike many of the other potential people we pit Batman against - don't posses any distinct or game changing advantage over Batman.

Please, Captain America is one of the greatest tacticians/strategists in comics. When everything was on the line against Krona in JLA/Avengers, both teams (including Batman himself) choose Captain America to lead them into the final battle.
