You always knew he would win, his comebacks were predictable, but the crowd would eat that shyt up. Some of his matches with Andre were damn near cinematic underdog stories where you knew the outcome beforehand yet still get sucked in

Hogan could NOT wrestle

And he was not the biggest guy at the time (though he was a big dude)

He had “it”. Dude had charisma through the roof. Some of his matches told great stories, and he played the powerful face, the weak comeback face, the powerful heel, the chickenshyt heel, all to a tee. You can’t knock it

Dude legit played a chickenshyt heel as a face character for a good while, crowd didn't even catch on til Macho Man exposed that shyt... and STILL cheered him.
