Idk who it would be. Initially I would’ve went with henry since he is vocal about wanting the role and almost had it in 05. But I think he’s too big of a “name” now and they normally like going with unknowns (relatively). Keeps the price down and keeps them in a contract longer etc.

I know tonally I want them to not do this serialized thing anymore although I think letting Bond progress as a character throughout the series flicks is a good idea.

I’d prefer they keep the tone of casino Royale, which was dark but never forgot to be a fun action flick. Since they’re not going to reboot from scratch, taking a Bond Year Two approach would be fun and getting him back to his spying/detecting roots.

The new bond will definitely not be a woman and I highly doubt they will cast a black dude.

I do think they will try to cast someone in the 30-35 year old age range.

If they go young I think Josh O'Connor, recent Emmy Winner for best dramatic male lead for The Crown an extremely British show has the inside track.

Looks like it's going to be Madsen or Cavill....Cavill seems like an obvious choice...he would need to lose weight tho...he is a bulky guy and would look goofy......but at the same time he seems a little "too famous" for the role

Also, Brits take great pride in James Bond. The latest is breaking box office Records in the UK. If they want to keep that effect casting an American would be counterproductive.
