so what should I get :lupe: if not a apple watch
I had a charge HR for about a little over a month, after a week of heavy use the battery died and it would not turn back on..They sent me another one and the same thing happened. So within about 4 months I went through 2. I bought an apple watch and have 0 complaints, the battery doesn't last as long but I don't like wearing these watches to sleep anyway so I charge it at night.

Fitbit is a great concept and isn't expensive, but they are cheap. My Apple watch does all of the same functions and I can control my music or respond to texts, for $350 I think the apple watch is worth it

I am interested in getting a fitbit. How does it work? How has it changed your life?

Does it get annoying on your wrist? :lupe:

I wear a metal watch. I don't like rubber or whatever that material is.
So it counts your steps? Is the price worth it?

Speak on it brehs and brehettes.
I've settled on Fitbit and I have the Charge HR for work and the Surge otherwise. I hardly notice it on my wrist. It gives me a better idea of how active I've been in a day and how many calories I can eat. I don't eat back all the calories but I usually eat back 50% of them.

I have the fitbit charge as well. I'm feeling the heart rate system and loving the app and how I can scan the foods I eat with the Bar code on item and the app knows how much calories it is.

You can save foods and meals on MyFitnessPal and quickly add edit them and it syncs with Fitbit anyway.

I have my usual meals saved as custom meals in MyFitnessPal and in less than a minute I can enter everything I plan to eat in a day and have it sync to Fitbit too.

For the people who have fitbit, are you losing weight because of it? Because of the way it is tracking your movements, calories etc?

I've consistently lost weight with the Fitbit. My goal is to lost 50 pounds total and then see where my bodyfat it and bulk possibly. I've lost 35 pounds in 53 days and most days I eat over my target base of 2200-2400 calories because the Fitbit says I've earned more calories.

It's rare but there are some days I eat exactly what it says I can eat but I usually go 500-1000 calories less than it says.

I have a Polar H7 chest strap. I went chest strap because I don't care for watches and the reviews I read have chest straps being (on average) more accuarate than watches.

I think it was a good decision as I can make my work outs more efficient. I can see what exercises/ days burn the most calories, when my heart rate is at its highest, etc.

Do any of you wear a watch and Fitbit at the same time? I got a Fitbit Surge for Christmas, which is bigger and kind of like a smart watch. However I typically wear a regular watch during the day. I'm thinking about exchanging the Surge for a Fitbit Charge HR. That way I was thinking I could still wear a regular watch and then the Fitbit on my other wrist.

Thinking about getting a Fitbit Charge HR. I was told that the heart monitor is not all that accurate however I am not interested in wearing a chest monitor. I think the HR might fit my needs. Do you all enjoy your Fitbit? Do any of you have the HR. if so, how is the Heart monitor in your opinion?

My moms got one for Christmas and it wouldn't sync with her phone so they sent her another. I'm wearing the first one now cause I don't need it to sync to the phone:pachaha:

I already track my calories with MyFitnessPal but I think the only part that will help me will be the calories estimate:manny:

Heart rate monitor seems to work fairly well. I will report back once I get more familiar with it tho, It has only been two days using it.

its accurate enough.
I lost about 40lbs last year basing my calorie intake on what the fitbit said.
