10 states? try all 50 and some foreign countries. tbs wasn't a regional station, that shyt was national.

if i was born in the post-braves on tbs era, i wouldn't be a braves fan.

This is what brought us together brehs. Think about it, the Braves can claim fans from like 10 states off TBS alone. I used to love watching the Braves, WCW, and the NBA on TBS growing up.

Grew up watching the braves on TBS every single day is what made me fall in love with baseball. Never forget the day Maddux threw a 76 pitch complete game shutout.

Bruh you taking me back for real. I miss those days.
Skip in the booth getting wasted on the sauce, just like his dad Harry Carey used to do. Some games where it was a blow out
you could really hear it in his voice, that nikka would to be wasted by the 6th inning . shyt used to crack me up. Leo Mazzone used to live right across the breezeway from my pops old spot in West Midtown. It wasn't a dump but it was a real modest spot for a professional big league pitching coach. I never met him personally, saw him a few times and I know my Dad was on friendly enough terms with dude to get free tickets alot and get jerseys and cards signed for me by players on the squad back then. Pops even saw Glavine and Smoltz pull up together one day and then Maddux followed behind solo not too long after to go to Mazzone's house.

I remember being in the car with my pops driving past the old 3 Dollar Cafe right there at the corner of Peachtree and Pharr when we beat the Pirates in the NLCS to go to the World Series and it was people everywhere just in the middle of the street. shyt looked like Bourbon St for real. Then I remember being at my uncle house out in the Dec when we beat the Indians to win that chip and nikkas was shooting in the air like it was NYE. Aww the memories.

Braves always going to be my squad, even if they have been pissing me off with this wack ass moves the last few years. That cursive script "A" on the cap is so iconic to me, got that shyt tatted on my arm and everytime I look at that shyt it reminds me of where Im from and who I am.

Dawg! I'm a little bit younger than you, so I was just a youngin during the early 90s heyday. But from like 97 on I was heavily invested and interested in the Braves and baseball in general. I still have the old Chop Talk Magazines, plenty of the 8x11.5 player posters they used to sell, all my old tickets, etc. I remember going up to Richmond, VA watching games with my grandma and great grandpa, I bought my grandma a signed Andruw Jones ball/plaque a few years back.
Skip was a legend tho. He used to be say "A fan from Lithonia caught that foul ball." shyt used to trip me out, how did he know that?:gladbron:

when he had that eye problem and showed up with a patch i honestly was like "fukk him". i know i shouldn't be happy someone damn near went blind, but fukk did he ever traumatize me. god damn. it's only because he's dead why i don't hate him now ... showing a little bit of decency to the dead.
