I Agree that it makes no sense...he not a great shooter and is a smaller defender.
He literally brings nothing over Shump.
I think he is shooting 40% from 3 this year, and would be our main defender on Steph if we happen to meet them in the finals.
I think the thing that is making Shump expendable is the fact that Korver is lights out and is playing in the 4th quarter. When JR is back it will be tough for shump to get minutes because of how well Korver is playing.
