The accent would be too strong for the general public if he was played by an African, shyt even scotts and Irishmen have to almost hide their accents to get roles in Hollywood

That's if they play someone American. Henry Cavill nixed his accent to play Superman but if he had been a brit he would have kept it. Aaron Taylor Johnson did the same in kick ass. If he's gonna play an African an African accent is pretty acceptable

Of course but what I mean is some accents are way to strong for the general public, an American or brit faking an African accent would go down better than an actual African speaking English, especially in a movie that's gonna be full of comic book science words.

I used the scoots and Irish example because some actors from those regions actually have to fake a "normal" British accent just so people can understand them clearly.

You have to look at the casting of Black Panther from two angles too because you don't know if they are looking for a seasoned, mature version of the character or a young "Year One" version of the character.
