No way Floyd's fighting him again.
Well....the money is there. Floyd doesn't really have any big fights at 147 (Excluding Pacman). There just isn't much good competition or marketable fights there. He could fight Maidana again, and probably make some cash. Would it sell more than the first fight? Maybe. Would it sell as much as a Cotto rematch? No fukking way. If it's all about the money, then Floyd's best bet is to go ahead and campaign at 154 again, and hopefully come up with a catch-weight with Cotto.

If I were Floyd I would duck Cotto. The Cotto I saw last Saturday would give Floyd all kinds of problems, and I'm not even sure Floyd would be favored in the rematch. Floyd only has a few fights left on his contact. If I were him and I were trying to preserve my record, I'd fight Maidana, Khan and Thurman all in succession, and retire.

:dahell: Floyd not favored in a rematch? Cotto looked as great as he did before Floyd beat him the first time.

I think some of you are putting too much into Cotto styling on a washed up Sergio.

U don't think Cotto was more impressive in his win vs Martinez than he was in his win against Margarito the second time?

Floyd's options are extremely shytty as far as marketable PPV fights so in all honesty Floyd and his crew should be begging Cotto for a rematch. Floyd needs a Cotto rematch much more than Cotto needs to fight Floyd again.

I'm not that interested in a mayweather rematch. It wasn't that competitive first time round.
