Kraven. He’s a villain we haven’t seen on screen, he’s compelling, and story wise he already fits in. If you’re starting the movie with Spider-Man as a wanted criminal and someone believed to be responsible for a drone attack on an entire city, that means it’s open season on his head. And someone has to collect. That opens the door for kraven to be that guy. He’s seen this “spider” on tv and believes he can take him down.
And if you want to give a shout-out to the comics, you can have JJ be the one to hire him just like JJ created scorpion in order to kill Spider-Man.
Kingpin would be ok but story wise I don’t see how he fits. Same with the big man, who is actually the person I want to see. Spider-Man hasn’t affected their “business” yet since we haven’t seen him do a thing about organized crime in New York yet. So there’s no reason for them to go after him. Kraven lives for the hunt tho and truly believes in the hunt at all costs. So even when he finds out the truth, it won’t matter. He’ll still go after peter
