I love New York. But Philly, DC, Chicago & Boston offer alot of the same amenities for cheaper.
DC ain't NO cheaper.

I can't say about Philly but, DC, Chicago, and Boston ain't any cheaper.
Amenities? I don't even know what he means, but we all know no place has that energy like NYC, there are intangibles you can't duplicate no matter how great of a city you build. NYC is not just a place it's like another dimension

Amenities. Things a city offers. Entertainment. Nightlife. Food. Shopping. Mass transportation, etc. Do you really need 6,000 bars and restaurants? 600 is just as good and 9 times out of 10, you'll choose 10 you like and never go to the rest.
breh where are you from? i'm guessing it's either delaware or some exurb of philly or something. come to think of it, delaware is an exurb of philly
i'm born and raised here, and DC does NOT compare. not even close
you're telling me the fukkin METRO can hang with the nyc subway system?
NY is definitely a great city to experience, lived there for 6 months..but once you get into the routine of subways/busses and dealing with the Daily bullshiit..It gets old pretty quick. and the 2nd hand smoke was going to kill me early..seems like everyone was smoking cigs in the city.
Yes it is. I live in DC breh breh. You want that New York apartment you see in the movies....you talking atleast $4,000-$6,000 a month atleast Even Brooklyn is expensive now.
Im from Wilmington, i go to school in DC.
We all got our opinions and Im not about to spend time tryna to change yours. Fact is, NYC is more expensive than every other city on the East coast. What good is all the things to do in New York if you eating Ramen noodles the rest of the week?
