A lot people with food stamps don't make enough money to support themselves. Where did you get your information from to assume that a lot of people with money are getting food stamp?

Let's say you live in a household with 4 people and you make under 20k. You could get food stamps by saying you take care of all of them and the house with your 20k. The rest of the three incomes aren't accounted for because you are the breadwinner of the family from what you told them.

States are catching on to people exploiting food stamps that they are implementing programs to make them work for the stamps with community service.

A lot of people with Stamps have money. The system thinks they're poor, but in reality, they're in the working class just like the rest of us.

White folks living in the suburbs have stamps, and they live in pretty nice homes. The husband makes the money and the wife file for the stamps.

Yeah but they can and will never save money or buy a house trying to hid their income just to get a little bit of money. It's so financially limiting.

You save money from not having to spend cash on groceries and from what they said above, you can buy fast food too.

It can't be financially limiting when the rest of the household members contribute to the house's income.

yup when i was a freshman a lot of my friends(no kids) applied and got food stamps. just be a full time student and you get about $100

EBT cards at fast food joints are a real thing. They usually have a sign outside letting you know if they accept it or not.

Damn it makes me feel like I got it too easy in Cali. I don't know anyone who's been denied food stamps.
