Becky's heel turn hasn't been good, she's just been more pushed. A heel turn consisting of "you people!" promos that I haven't seen get heat a single time isn't good. She probably is the WWE woman's wrestler of the year for match quality though.

Such a loaded question. I mean, there are so many great things happening right now, even while I'm (main roster) #NWG.

Honestly, Gargano over here dropping classic... after classic... after classic like he's Dot.
Ciampa managing to be one of the only actual heels left in wrestling that's supposed to be a heel, not accidentally one.
Dream doing the lord's work by literally getting better every time he's seen.
Rollins having been the actual workhorse, even long before Roman disappeared.
Braun with the fukkery before they force-cooled him because of aforementioned Roman.
There's a lot of people out here doing well. That being said:

At this point it's Pentagon and Becky Lynch. Yeah, Becky's run started late in the year but you can't deny that it has the entire wrestling fandom invested, and her in-ring work has always been excellent.

That was a couple weeks before she got super over, and the point remains. THey tried to turn her heel, it just her more over as a face because the traditional things used to turn people heel don't work half of the time anymore, especially with smark favorites.

They wisely gave up on the heel turn and you have what you see now, but that first month was not good. A heel talking about "you people are idiots and don't support me" getting worship chants and huge pops doesn't really work as TV.

The Stone Cold Pit bull gets my vote on the male side, and Becky lynch deserves the women's award.

Both defiantly took steps to cement their spots and claim. Ishi strung together an incredible G1 run and became a legit character in the eyes of most. while Becky found away to step aside rousey shadow and develop a super over character.

I will say that Pentagon defiantly deserves props too dude is killing it everywhere as well.

1. Becky Lynch - I'm surprised that there's not more votes for her. I mean, she's like Barry Sanders on those shytty Detroit Lions teams, brehs. I mean she's like the ONLY thing really working on the WWE's whole roster right now and changing women's place in the biz, she's crossed over to mainstream media solely on the merit of her ability in the ring, on the mic, and on social media. The one game changer in the biz right now.

2. Pentagon - Dude is just killing it in multiple fronts right now.

You talking mark shyt brah, best match this, 5 stars that... Rondas WM appearance was in front of 80K and millions watching, pentagon performs on el rey and pop tv. ... It's like giving the Oscar award to best acting to a Broadway show because the acting is more Shakespearean.... The only people who would say that are pure acting marks.... Like those hooty tooty acting elitest who watch "Broadway performances".... Ronda drew more fans in one night then pentagon did all year...

With that logic, Mr. T. & Lawrence taylor should've won Wrestler of the Year for their Wrestlemania performances because they were in front of lots of people

For female wrestlers it's Becky. For males I would say Rollins, but I haven't liked his booking on RAW (or anyone's honestly) and there's some in NXT that's been impressing me this year.

I dont watch enough of the other promotions to properly judge.
