I'd have to flip a coin. Roll a dice or some shyt.
Wrestling wise? Kenny Omega. Dude don't call himself The Best Bout Machine for nothing. Plus I've had hella fun trying to explain to my girl how Kenny went from
to where he is now. (that's still one of my favorite matches
) "you wanna make more money and be seen? WWE. You wanna be called the BEST wrestler in THE WORLD by pubs, mags and purists? NJPW."
Starwise? Pentagon. Yeah, we been stanning him in the LU thread for like 4 years (except
@Bryan Danielson), but he been relatively unknown by the world at large for a minute. Hell, we were scared to death that LU was getting cancelled.
Every. Year.
Fast forward to this year. It seems weird as hell watching the All In crowd doing the Cero Miedo chant in unison. 20k strong. He winning belts all over. Turning down WWE offers. In a universe where everything that isn't WWE is called "indie", dude is a bonafide star.
Game changing? Be mad, but "Young Geese Howard" Cody Rhodes. He ain't do it in the ring, though.
WWE wise? I've prolly watched 4 WWE matches this entire year. Three of them had Seth Rollins in them. Skillwise it feels like he's doing his damnedest to make WWE programming must watch TV while he's in the ring. He literally trying to carry the company on his back. Can't help but applaud him.
That one other match was Brock/Reigns. Damn near the worst "big" match I've ever watched all of. But we ain't here to talk about that.
Outside of that, WWE wise I'd give it to Ricochet.
