Whitest post ever, :heh: Sean Price and "the wu"

You do know Wu were deep in the streets? Hell, U-God got a shoutout in every hood rappers liner notes for being THAT dude.

People say Mack Mittens but is he more talented than say a Trag or Mega or Capone? And ll of Beans group members equally walked that line of one-foot-in, one-out so theres Oschino and Peedi, and then you have the rest of Philly rappers that do the same. What about Half-a-Mil?

this is why rap has gone to shyt. who gives a fukk about who does what outside the booth as long as they make good music? that's why you got wack ass rappers thinking they can start careers because they have a rap sheet. this thread is a like a he said, she said, who dun it. all gossipping about people's businesses you don't know and glamorizing that shyt too on top of that. that's why the police are always locking rappers up. they come to places like here where folks are tipping them off. mind your business.

wouldn't be surprised if one of you folks had the fbi investigating whoever for a murder or two. there is no statute of limitations to murder. at the same time, can't stand justice from being served though whether in the courtroom or in the street.

gotta be sigel

like people said, what level of street we talking about... i figure 80% of rappers were outside during fukkery or roll with people who did shyt

then you got 50% who probably sold drugs... maybe not a ki... but a few dimes and nicks... shyt even nas did that for a little bit

then we got nikkas who have caught bodies and moved work

now first in rap, i'm gonna have to say beans

and in catching bodies, going to war, and staying in the streets, i'd have to say sigel again

mostly cause you can't verify these dudes was doing anything major... they SAY they did... but who knows... sigel you know and it's recent... and the rest ain't really good rappers

What's crazy to me is Sigel said and DID shyt, a lot of it out in the open and on record. It's frightening to wonder what he was doing behind the scenes. He also happens to be one of the best rappers of all time.

nikka GTFOH :camby: I don't know how old you are but if you're "older" we're most likely around the same age and while I can agree that rap has gone to shyt, I can not agree that this thread is a reason why. I grew up in L.A. and the best rap beefs included the rappers questioning each others "rep". Quick/Eiht, Eazy/Dre, NWA/Cube etc. That Eazy/Dre shyt had nikkaz in school debating for days how "real" Dre and Snoop were because Eazy drop Real Muthafukin G'z and the cover for his album 187 on a Dre. Debating a rappers authenticity is part of the game escpecially when the rappers beefin content matter is 75% "gangsta shyt".

rapper is an entertainer. That's what they do. The gangsta shyt is basically entertainment.

You guys are basically doing the same shyt that tipper gore and the government used to do where they were all claiming that rap music was a legitimate threat to society and shyt by taking entertainment and making it into some real life shyt.

You're going into people's personal business here. Whatever someone does off the mic is none of your business. I really don't want to know what so and so did because that is basically putting yourself in danger especially if that person has something to lose.

Lil Kim, Devin the Dude, Suga Free. :manny:

Actually nah... I gotta go with Redman. He's kept it the realest outta anybody. That cribs episode :deadmanny: promoting weed before it was cool to do. He never fronted and always kept everything street. Never pretended to be killing ppl or selling drugs either. Always repped his hood to the fullest. Always repped his crews to the fullest.

Put his homies on and gave em features. Got other street dudes in the door. Never moved outta the hood, took off his beanie, or put his blunt out after 20 or so years in the game.
