The question should be rephrased, Who's going to be the King of the West Coast. I'd say Kendrick Lamar looks like he's on his way, but anything can happen between now and October 2, 2012, although I'm not aware of anything on the horizon with as much anticipation.
edit: by the way, I'm loving the new artists hailing from California. There's an unprecedented hunger over there as of late with a ton of talent. They remind me of how New York was back when there was the picture of Nas, Big L, and Cam together as the new up and comers, and those three only represented a fraction of what NYC was getting reading to bring to the table. It's the same with Cali now.
