I'd probably use how much they're paid to separate bigger and popular...like I'd say Rock's the biggest right now, since he'd the highest paid...but I'd argue Cruise is more popular, since his name can carry a film...like comparing 2018...Rock's rampage did about 420 mill...where as Cruise's MI 6 did almost 800 mill

Tom Cruise. Samuel L. Jackson is getting close IMO. He's part of the MCU, part of the Star Wars prequels, and seems to be in almost everything.

I was gonna go w/ Leo at 1st, then The Rock, but a lot of the Rocks star power is carry over from wrestling. Looked at Box Office numbers for a bit too, but a lot of the biggest BO draws were connected to BIG movie franchises and/or wasnt the star of the show in a lot of those HUGE money making hits.

Will Smith at one time had a run where he was the biggest for sure.

Denzel might be the most loved, but I dont think he was ever the biggest.



When I think of biggest star, I think if you had 10 stars in 1 area sitting at a table for pics/autographs. Who would have the biggest line????

If we're taking into account various factors, such as carrying top movies and/or a franchise, being recognized by damn near every one, doing it for decades, having blockbusters AND films for the cinephiles, it might be Tom Cruise.

I mean Top Gun came out 35 years ago and he's still on top of the game whenever a movie with him comes out. No one outside the blockbuster crowd cares about The Rock, Samuel L Jackson might have done too many movies where he wasn't the clear-cut star to be considered in the same category, Leo seems to have peaked early in the general perception (and is still seen for some as "the guy from Titanic", blessing and a curse), Keanu could've been higher if The Matrix trilogy didn't fukk up, Will had that but also seems to have done a couple movies people didn't really like/care for. Denzel is huge, but I feel something is missing in his filmograghy to be closer to Cruise

If by biggest we mean most well known surprised that Marlon Brando ain't getting no love on the poll. Deniro should be on the poll too and not just honorable mention but it's so many great and known actors over the decades that someone great is going to get left out regardless.
