First let me say this: Scottie Pippen is my favorite basketball player of all times. I respected Jordan but was never a big fan.
With that said, I assure you he was not a better all around player than MJ.
The thing about scottie is that he was just a very versatile player who could do everything well enough from guarding PG's, SGs , SFs and PFs. But truth is Pippen could not finish like Mike. Come 4th Q time Mike would pick teams apart slowly.

ok while scottie was a great player, i think all you need to think about or learn about (depending whether you know or not OP).. is that when jordan played PG for a bit he was thrashing the league with points and assists
and in the finals against magic.. he out statted magic in every category that mattered
scottie was a great player, and i would say his perimeter defense and his defensive presence overall esp in those utah series totally were one of the key factors to winning..but he was not better than MJ in any way, plus you're comparing a SG and a forward, this is a nonsensical comparison
