"Fella"

"Arse"

This, this is what you've resorted to? Fella? Arse? Those aren't catchphrases.

EXCUSE ME
YES/NO
WOO WOO WOO, YOU KNOW IT
YOU CAN'T SEE ME
BEST IN THE WORLD (debatable actually)

Those are catchphrases. "Fella," and "arse," are not. That's like saying Orton's catchphrases were "punt" and "skull" during his Heel Viper run. :aicmon:

Oh, the Dudley Boyz, Two Cool, the Hardyz and Edge and Christian all main evented as tag teams. And these were career teams, not random pairings. And it wasn't due to emergency booking.

Yeah a gimmick that's as over as a guy whose supposed to be bigger in the company.

Vickie's the most over heel in the company, so what? Cheap heat tactics get over.

Or corny "Irish Family" stories? :aicmon:

Bryan's character has been handled much better than Sheamus'. That's why there's even a comparison in levels of crowd reaction. Analysis of WWE booking and creative fukk ups are nowhere to be seen when the idiocy promotes IWC agendas. Antonio Cesaro's character fukking sucks. It's as one dimensional as Sheamus', of course, WWE is to blame for Cesaro being totally heatless while Sheamus is blamed for drawing face heat doing the exact opposite of what got him pops to begin with.

Seriously, what would Daniel Bryan be without YES/NO? What promo or match has he had that has stood out so much that he'd be as over without the catchphrase? Worse yet, what if WWE saw how over Bryan had become after the WM incident and said, "Hmmmmmm, the YES made him popular so let's get rid of that AND the edge he developed as a heel and have him go back to being a shy nerd."

You all can hem and haw about Sheamus winning matches but that doesn't get you over. Tensai, Masters, Kozlov, Del Rio, Ryback (before that catchphrase caught on :youngsabo:) the list goes on. Sheamus has an extremely annoying character that is somehow working. Daniel Bryan has a nice catch phrase, a character tweaked to highlight what the crowd likes, and situations and storylines to match that. Isn't him being over a testament to the system working?

Now I know this is going to :mindblown: your minds but terrible booking and creative can affect people you don't stan over as well. Sit back and take it all in.

Sheamus cant even out draw Orton. On a related note, Randy Orton has made it clear he wants to be a heel and can perform as a top heel. The problem with that is WWE won’t turn him until they are fully confident in Sheamus drawing as the top babyface on the SmackDown side. There is no real heat on Sheamus but officials wish he would connect with fans more.

D-Bry is over but its kind of close now. Shaemus wasn't over but its like they kept pushing him.. and slowly but surely he's winning more people over. He has some good matches and although his mic ability is generic, he's a face what you expect. They can forge a connection with the fans if they put him in matches with good opponents because that's where he shines. Those matches he had with Barret, Cesaro and Bryan were gold.

I think they like Bryan but don't feel he has the look their after :comeon:

He can carry the weight when given the opportunity but they just like shoveling dirt on dude. This tag shyt reminds me of when he got saddled up with the Bellas meaning he was put on a back burner. He's not forgotten or anything, I just feel he could be doing better shyt than this tag team thing. If he don't push for more, they'll just leave him where he's at is what I'm thinking.

I would say there dead even to answer the question though.

Sheamus isn't even more over than Orton right now and he's in neutral. Fact is dude is getting the superman push and doesn't connect with the crowd nearly as well as a heel/tweener D Bry with half the push. Their reactions aren't so far apart to be making a statement about it. He's not nearly as over as he should be and I kinda like dude.

Losing to Big Show clean is now a Superman push? :comeon:

Real quick, y'all pretending Sheamus wasn't getting a superman push? :wtf: dude beats everyone CLEAN for a year+, losing to Show recently is the only time he's looked vulnerable.

Nothing to do with the topic but just wanted to say that to a few posters above acting like Sheamus been jobbed out or something

All these "What Ifs" make no sense Liggins. If the crowd didn't care about him the YES chants wouldn't be over. All the storylines he's been in wouldn't have gotten reactions from the fans. Most Sheamus segments are dead in the water. He wrestles a pretty good main event style and gets a decent intro pop but he's not on D Bry's level.

Sheamus could never convey anger like Bryan did in his matches after Mania, he could never get that best in the world feud with Punk over because no one would believe it, and he for sure couldn't make a comedy duo with Kane that brought a whole division back up.

He's not that good, yet. He's where he's at because of the lack of talent on the roster + their weird need to have two champions. He's a midcard level talent forced onto the main event stage. But he's done well for himself, I got nothing against the guy. But when you talk about the way characters are handled that's the responsibility of the worker. Cena has one of the worst booked, inconsistent characters in history but he makes it work at the end. Just like Bryan who took what was given to him and made it work. If Sheam's excuse is "the bookings bad," then that's on him because he's not even getting pushed in the background or anything close to that.

You sound like HHH talking about going out and grabbing "that brass ring."

Lucci Vee, stop posting your fake news. You're terrible at it. Leave that to me and Meester.

Push for more? Daniel Bryan isn't married to Stephanie. If they want him on top, they would do it. Just like they did for Cena, Blandy, and Sheamus.
