I've gone maybe twice now, but that's it. It was Pacific Rim and something else I can't remember, but that was back when I worked nights. A theater by my place has $5 Wednesdays so I'd get off work get some sleep and hit the movies while the wife was at work. Haven't done it in a while though. I did notice I was able to take in each scene a lot better without the wife asking me about something she might have missed

I did it when Episode 3 came out... The misses really didnt wanna see it and I didnt want to drag her along to hear her complain the entire time ... So, I took a looooooong coffee break at work .. and loved it.

Yep I've done it. Usually to see something nobody is interested in but me. Didn't bother me at all, once I went and met a girl that was going by herself as well and we hit it off. So that was an unexpected bonus.

I've done it a few times if I wanted to kill a couple hours. I've actually lied down on the seats if it's pretty empty and watched the movie like I'm on my couch.

I do it all the time. Basically all three points you mention. And I'll say nothing beats the moment you walk into a packed theater, you go to the best row, see an empty seat right in the middle that was left open because of people's weird anxiety to sit next to each other, stroll over to that seat and sit down looking at the people next to you like "Hey, what's up?"

They're so furious, every damn time!

I go alone 90% of the time. I can go when i want and not have to worry about the person im going with liking the movie or not.

But one thing for sure is you NEVER SIT DIRECTLY NEXT TO ANYONE IN THE MOVIE REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE SEATING SITUATION MAY BE. That's straight status breh

I have no problem going alone. If it's a matinee 80% of the time I go alone and enjoy myself. Sometimes I get free passes or passes to not yet released films and go through my mental rolodex on who I want to take. Those are the ones that be packed.

Typically I go with my girl or friends. But this week I think I'm going alone to Godzilla cuz they all say they don't want to see that shyt.
